The Itty Bitty Books includes a collection of short foldable nonfiction readers about different interesting and engaging topics! These little foldable books are kid-friendly, easy to prepare, and a meaningful tool for developing your students’ reading fluency and comprehension.
These can be used during small group instruction or for independent practice. Students will LOVE folding the paper to create their book. These are available in color and black & white.
How to Prep:
Students will LOVE folding their paper to create their itty bitty book! These are easy-peasy to prep. Just simply fold the sheet in half horizontally and then in half again vertically (so that it creates a mini-book). Just 1 page per book! Nearly no prep!
To accomplish this resource, students need to:
- Read the nonfiction text.
- Answer comprehension questions about the text.
- Draw a picture to match the text.
